NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a youth development movement, established in our school on 18.08.2003. It has enormous potential for nation building. The NCC provides opportunities to the youth of the country for their all-round development with a sense of Duty, Commitment, Dedication, Discipline so that they become able leaders and useful citizens. These young enthusiasts meet Every Tuesday for a parade from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. inspected by an NCC officer from the 1 (TN) BTY Unit. NCC cadets are offered various training programmes. It is in the line of their interests, aptitudes, and career aspirations.

NGC

National Green Corps is a programme of the Ministry of Environment and Forests of Government of India covering around 1,20,000 schools in India with NGC School Eco Clubs. Environmental activity is promoted through them in our school. The children are linked to the culture and cultural aspects of conservation of natural resources and environment.

JRC

The Junior Red Cross was established in 1922 in the hope of encouraging younger generations to cultivate their humanitarian spirit. Students internalize Red Cross principles, ideas and engage themselves in social activities. Our main idea behind the Junior Red Cross is to enable the students make sense of philanthropism.

RSP

The Road Safety Patrol is a service to mankind that ensures an accident-free life. The idea of school students helping the police to regulate traffic was introduced by the fact that it is not possible to depute a police officer for each and every school. RSP cadets are the agents for the dissemination medium of awareness on road safety. Every year RSP warden gives training to them to inculcate the traffic discipline. They conduct various competitions to promote civic sense. In our school we have approximately 60 cadets deployed during various celebrations and functions in school.

Scouts & Guides

The Bharat Scouts & Guides is a voluntary, non-political educational Movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed. The purpose of the Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials.

Cubs & Bulbul

Cubs and bulbuls are the next lap in the journey towards scouting and guiding after Bunny. Character building is its aim. Instilling self – discipline and thoughtfulness for others, at a tender age, is the major focus, of the activities designed for this group. It prepares the Primary boys and girls to take up bigger tasks in scouting and guiding and also helps in their mental and physical growth.
